Tips & Tricks Tuesday: Security Level Settings

Written by MAX | Jun 9, 2015 9:58:08 PM

If you’ve run into problems with users not being able to perform certain actions, security level settings for the particular users might be the source of the problem. For instance, when new functionality which requires user security is added to Exact MAX, the default security level for existing users is “no access." If you have upgraded recently, or have purchased new functionality, it’s likely that the default “no access” is the current setting for the new functionality for ALL users.

To check it out, go to System Manager > Activity Menu > User Security. Choose the user or user group in the left pane, then go through each module in the middle pane to display/change the security level settings listed in the right pane.
